This policy describes how Data Solution Global LLC ("Data Solution Global," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our text message (SMS) program conducted through Microsoft Teams Phone.
Information We Collect
In connection with this program we collect:
- Your mobile telephone number
- Your name and business affiliation, where you have provided them
- The content and timestamps of text messages exchanged with our employees
- Your opt-in and opt-out status
We collect this information directly from you when you provide your mobile number to a Data Solution Global employee in the ordinary course of business, or when you send a message to a Data Solution Global number.
How We Use This Information
We use this information solely to conduct one-to-one business conversations between our employees and their business contacts, to respond to your messages, to honor opt-out requests, and to maintain records required for regulatory and carrier compliance.
We do not use mobile numbers collected through this program for marketing or promotional messaging.
No Sale or Sharing of Mobile Information
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of exclusions listed above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade mobile phone numbers or text message content.
We share information from this program only in the following limited circumstances:
- With Microsoft Corporation and its underlying carriers, aggregators, and operators strictly as necessary to transmit and deliver messages and to satisfy 10DLC registration and compliance requirements
- Where required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government authority
- Where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
Service providers described above are permitted to use the information only to perform the services requested and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing purposes.
Retention
We retain message content and related records for as long as necessary to support the business relationship and to meet legal, contractual, and government contracting recordkeeping obligations, after which records are securely deleted or archived.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information in this program against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Messages are transmitted and stored within our Microsoft 365 tenant under access controls limited to authorized personnel.
Your Choices
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from a Data Solution Global number. You may reply HELP for assistance.
You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you in connection with this program by contacting us at the details below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
Children
This program is intended for business communication with adults. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age.
